TXST Website vs. Canvas

After reviewing the data from our first Survey my team and I decided to investigate both the Texas State University website and Canvas to see which would better fit our solution model. Although the Texas State University website has a wealth of information, its design is clunky at best. From an outside designer’s perspective I was left with the impression that each page was designed by a different individual and lacked overall unity or consistency.

If we had to pick from one of the preexisting Texas State Website designs, I would personally select the Student Business Services model. Out of the three examples I’ve provided, I believe it is the easiest to understand and navigate and has the most potential for our project. However, according to our survey Canvas is the preferred platform amongst the student body and the most likely be the best to execute our system.
